Gatewood, the Brewers No. 23 prospect, certainly put the power on display Wednesday in the opener of a twin bill as he went 3-for-3 with two homers for Class A Wisconsin, his second career multi-homer game.
What about his first career multi-homer game? That took place Saturday when he went 3-for-5 with two homers and a double for the Timber Rattlers.
Gatewood hit three homers in 2014, the same year the Brewers drafted him with the 41st overall pick. But he hit 10 homers in 2015 and has five through the first 30 games of 2016.
