Phillies' No. 2 prospect Jake Thompson was dominant once again. The No. 48 overall prospect surrendered just three hits as he twirled seven scoreless frames in Triple-A Lehigh Valley's 2-0 win over Rochester.
Thompson, 22, threw 57 of his 99 pitches for strikes and walked one while striking out three.
Strong, lengthy starts are becoming the norm for Thompson, who has thrown at least six innings and allowed two earned runs or fewer in seven consecutive outings. He's also allowed just one earned run in his last 19 1/3 innings.

Thompson won his fourth straight decision, but he wouldn't have done so without the help of Phillies' No. 1 prospect J.P. Crawford, who is also on a hot streak.
The No. 3 overall prospect went 3-for-4 with a run scored and has hits in eight of his last nine games -- a stretch he has used to bump his average up from .219 to .254.

• David Dahl (Rockies' No. 2) is making the transition to Triple-A with ease. The No. 40 overall prospect is 10-for-15 through three games with Albuquerque, including a 4-for-5 performance Wednesday. The center fielder had a pair of doubles and collected two RBIs, but the Isotopes fell short, losing 6-4 to El Paso.

• Kyle Crick (Giants' No. 17) put up nothing but zeros in his outing for Double-A Richmond. The 23-year-old gave up just one hit and struck out three in six innings. It was Crick's first scoreless start of the season, but it was also the third time he walked five batters.

• Erik Gonzalez hit a leadoff homer to jump-start the offense in Triple-A Columbus' 8-4 win over Toledo. The homer, Gonzalez's sixth of the season, not only began a good offensive day for the entire Columbus offense, but for the Indians' No. 11 prospect himself as he finished the game 3-for-5.
Indians' No. 12 prospect Yu-Cheng Chang led the way offensively for Class A Advanced Lynchburg. The 20-year-old shortstop had a pair of doubles and went 4-for-5, his second four-hit game of the year. Chang also scored twice and drove in a career-high six runs.
Pirates' No. 19 prospectStephen Tarpley put together his longest start of the season for Class A Advanced Bradenton as he fired seven scoreless frames and struck out six. The lefty walked two and gave up just five hits in his 11th start of the season.
• Since he was promoted to Triple-A Durham, Rays' No. 9 prospect Jacob Faria has been nearly untouchable. The right-hander's scoreless streak was halted at nine, but he gave up just one run on four hits in six innings. The one run is the only one Faria has allowed in three starts with Durham, and his ERA now sits at 0.60 through 15 innings.
• Raimel Tapia (Rockies' No. 6) and Ryan McMahon (Rockies' No. 3) each went 2-for-4 for Double-A Hartford. McMahon, the No. 42 overall prospect, has been on a bit of a tear recently with six hits in his last 13 at-bats. Meanwhile, Tapia has had a run of success as well, as he's in the midst of a 16-game hitting streak.
• Chalk up two more multi-hit games for Royals' No. 14 prospect Hunter Dozier, who has recorded at least two hits in seven of his last eight games. The third baseman drove in two runs and was on base constantly throughout Triple-A Omaha's double header, going a combined 5-for-7 with a homer.

Twins' No. 5 prospect Stephen Gonsalves spun a gem for Double-A Chattanooga. The lefty spread three hits across six scoreless frames. If there was a blemish on his day, it was that he threw just 50 of his 93 pitches for strikes and walked five, a season-high.
2016 Draft: Mariners' first-round selection Kyle Lewis put together a three-hit game for the first time as a professional. Lewis missed out on a cycle, but he went 3-for-5 with a homer and three RBIs for Class A Short Season Everett.
