Johan Mieses is on a tear through the California League. The Dodgers' No. 23 prospect homered for a fourth consecutive game for Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga against the Visalia Rawhide on Saturday.
Mieses has now gone deep 13 times over his last 19 games, batting .411 (30-for-73) with 33 RBIs. The 21-year-old outfielder has raised his batting average from .219 to .253 in that span.
With his first-inning, three-run shot, Mieses extended his hitting streak to eight games and pushed his team-leading home run total to 26.

• Brewers No. 6 prospectPhil Bickford reached double-digit strikeouts for the third time this season, fanning 10 batters for Class A Advanced Brevard County. The No. 61 overall prospect held the Dunedin Blue Jays to four hits and one run over five innings of work in his second start as part of the Milwaukee organization.
• No. 69 overall prospect Kolby Allard (Braves' No. 4) celebrated his 19th birthday with a dominant pitching performance for Class A Rome. The left-hander tossed six shutout frames, limiting Hickory to four hits and two walks while fanning nine batters. Allard's nine strikeouts were the second highest total of his professional career behind his personal-best 11, set on Aug. 3
• No. 77 overall prospect Michael Kopech (Red Sox's No. 5) got off to a hot start in Class A Advanced Salem's 5-2 victory over Wilmington. He struck out his first six batters and faced the minimum through four innings. It wasn't until the sixth inning that the Blue Rocks finally got to Kopech, loading the bases before he could record an out. Kopech totaled 11 strikeouts in the outing, establishing a new career high.
• Indians No. 3 prospect Bobby Bradley homered for a second consecutive game with Class A Advanced Lynchburg. The No. 76 overall prospect has a hit in each of his last five games, totaling multiple hits in three of them. The 20-year-old first baseman has homered five times this month and leads the Carolina League in home runs (24) and RBIs (87).
.• For the second time in three days, Rays No. 3 prospectJake Bauers (No. 84 overall) was a run-producing force, totaling four RBIs with a double and a home run as Double-A Montgomery defeated the Mobile MayBears, 9-4. On Thursday, Bauers fueled the Biscuits' offensive with a 3-for-3 performance that included a home run, two doubles, two RBIs and four runs scored.
• D-backs No. 3 prospect Anthony Banda kept the the Nashville Sounds off the board for six innings, allowing just four hits and two walks. Banda struck out 10 batters for Triple-A Reno -- the fourth double-digit strikeout game of his career -- but took a no-decision as the Sounds walked off on a two-run homer in the 9th.
• A's No. 4 prospect Matt Chapman extended his Texas League-leading home run total to 29. Chapman went 3-for-5 with a solo homer and a two-RBI double as the Midland RockHounds defeated Springfield 8-2. It marked Chapman's second multi-homer performance in his last four games.

• Rays No. 11 prospect Jaime Schultz tossed the longest outing of his career, pitching eight shutout frames for Triple-A Durham against Charlotte. Schultz held the Knights to three hits and two walks while striking out 11 batters, one shy of his career high. The 25-year-old righty did not earn the win, however, as the Bulls' bullpen squandered the 1-0 lead by surrendering five runs in the 9th.

• Rockies No. 19 prospect Jordan Patterson helped Triple-A Albuquerque win its seventh straight game, batting 3-for-5 and homering twice in the 13-7 victory over Colorado Springs. Patterson's first solo shot gave the Isotopes the lead in the fifth inning, and he later added another for insurance in the eighth. It was the second multi-homer performance of his career, pushing his home run total to 12 on the year.
