The Cleveland Indians today announced the following roster move relative to the 2017 Major League roster:
Breslow, 37, has split the season between the Cleveland and Minnesota Twins organizations, signing as a Minor League free agent with the Indians on August 4. He began the season with Minnesota, appearing in 30 games around a stint on the disabled list with rib cage soreness (June 28-July 17) before being designated for assignment on July 24 and later released. With AAA Columbus, he posted a 3.86 ERA in 7 outings (2ER, 4.2IP), limited left-handed batters to a .083 (1-12) average against and didn't allow a run over his last 6 games (3.2IP). He owns a career Major League ERA of 3.45 in 569 games/2 starts (566.1IP, 533H, 217ER).
