White discusses past with LA, future with SD

If the Padres want to dethrone the Dodgers one day in the NL West, they'll need to build a team that can defeat a homegrown L.A. core including Clayton Kershaw, Cody Bellinger and Corey Seager.

Luckily for San Diego, they now employ the man who oversaw the Dodgers' amateur scouting when each of those players was drafted, as well as LA's international scouting when the team signed Yasiel Puig and Hyun-Jin Ryu. Logan White, who left the Dodgers' front office to become the Padres' director of player personnel in 2014, sat down with MLB.com's Mark Feinsand to discuss all the names above and his view of the Padres' path to contention on this week's episode of Executive Access.
