PEORIA, Ariz. -- Mariners shortstop Ketel Marte laced a two-out triple in the bottom of the ninth and then scored on a throwing error from Rockies pitcher Austin House as Seattle pulled out a 1-1 tie on Friday night in the final Cactus League game of the spring at Peoria Stadium.
Marte scored when House fielded a comebacker by Daniel Robertson, but short-armed the throw to first.
The game ended in a tie as both managers chose not to play a 10th inning with the same two teams having to come back to face each other again Saturday afternoon in Scottsdale in the spring finale.

Rockies relievers Christian Bergman and Yohan Flande combined for seven scoreless innings of work. 
"Both guys threw well," said Rockies manager Walt Weiss. "Both guys throw strikes and attack. That's what they do."
Bergman, who'll open the season in long relief for the Rockies, started the game and gave up three singles and a walk in three scoreless frames. The 27-year-old struck out four and walked one in a 53-pitch effort while lowering his Cactus League ERA to 2.84.
"I felt strong," Bergman said. "The first inning was a bit of a workout. It was good to get that in and get through the inning, and follow it up with a couple strong innings afterward."
Flande, competing for the Rockies' last bullpen spot, followed Bergman with four shutout innings on four hits, one walk and two strikeouts.
Mariners lefty Wade Miley threw three innings of one-run ball as he tuned up for his regular-season debut next Wednesday in Texas.

Miley allowed three hits with no walks and three strikeouts in a 43-pitch outing. He concluded his spring with a 4.74 ERA in five appearances, earning the No. 3 starter slot.
The Rockies scored their lone run off Miley on back-to-back doubles by Ben Paulsen and Correlle Prime in the second, with Paulsen's hit a blooper that dropped into shallow right field between three Mariners defenders.

"I was happy with that. I'm ready to go," Miley said. "It's just being able to command. My fastball was good the first inning, not so good the second and I got it back in the third. So that's really the biggest thing. Work on my command, throw a couple breaking balls and now I'm ready to get out of here."
Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado went hitless for just the second time in 18 games this spring with an 0-for-2 outing before being replaced in the fifth inning, with his Cactus League average dropping to .544.
Kyle Seager went 2-for-4 for the Mariners to raise his spring average to .321, while shortstop Marte also had a pair of infield singles in a 3-for-4 night that put him at .358.
"That was a real nice swing [on the triple]," Mariners manager Scott Servais said. "He just dropped the head on that ball. And the speed game, plus he played good at short tonight. He's ready to go, ready for a big year."
Mariners up next:Nathan Karns starts a 12:10 p.m. PT game on Saturday against the Rockies at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale in the Cactus League finale. Karns will be Seattle's No. 5 starter and open the season next Saturday against the A's in Seattle. The game will be available for free on MLB.TV.
