The 2018 season, expected to be the first under the Marlins' new ownership, headlined by Derek Jeter, will feature the club playing the Yankees, both home and away.

A Marlins season that figures to be highlighted with ambition and expectation will embark on March 29, Major League Baseball announced on Tuesday as part of a league-wide schedule release.
The Marlins will open the year at home, with a four-game series against the Cubs, followed immediately by a two-game home set against the Red Sox, as part of the National League East's Interleague slate coming against the American League East in 2018. Miami will visit the Yankees for two games in the Bronx two weeks later, then won't play another AL club for two months, when it visits the Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
In addition to the Red Sox, the Yankees (Aug. 21-22) and Blue Jays (Aug. 31-Sept. 2) will each visit Marlins Park for a series, where fans will get a rare first-person look at some of the top sluggers in the AL, including Aaron Judge, Gary Sanchez and Josh Donaldson among others.
Should they be in postseason contention, the Marlins could face a formidable slate in the final week of the season, as they will visit, in order, the two-time defending NL East champion Nationals and Mets over a six-game, seven-day stretch to cap off the 162-game season.
September won't be an easy month. In addition to their final week, the Marlins also play a season-long 10-game road trip spanning as many days against the Pirates, Mets and Phillies.
July will be a busy month at Marlins Park, as the club plays 16 home games, the most of any month on its slate, including six straight against the Brewers and Phillies leading into the All-Star break. The Marlins come out of the break with their annual intrastate matchup against the Rays, a three-game series in St. Petersburg. Because the AL East and NL East are paired for Interleague matchups, it will not be a home-and-home series in 2018.
