ATLANTA -- The Braves announced Wednesday that left-handed reliever is undergoing treatment in a Florida hospital for severe dehydration.
Marksberry has been under physicians' care since being admitted to the hospital on Tuesday night.
HIPAA laws prevent the Braves from providing specific details about Marksberry's condition. But though he was unconscious on Wednesday night, there were indications that his vital signs are good.
Via his Twitter account (@SirLEFTYDuro) on Monday night, Marksberry asked for prayers as he dealt with a non-baseball-related health issue.

Marksberry began the 2015 season with Class A Advanced Carolina and then spent the final two months in Atlanta's bullpen. The 26-year-old reliever made four appearances for Atlanta this past season.
