The Oakland A's seek a fourth postseason berth in the last five seasons as they open the 2016 campaign with a four-game homestand against the Chicago White Sox, April 4 - 7 at O.co Coliseum.
 
The A's will celebrate Opening Night on Monday, April 4, with a pregame pyrotechnic display, a flyover by the Travis Air Force Base C5M, and tributes to Dave Henderson and Tony Phillips, including ceremonial first pitches by family members Trent and Chase Henderson and Jada Phillips. At the season opener, 32,000 fans will receive a magnetic schedule presented by CSN California and A's cheer cards.

Opening Night Festivities: On Monday, April 4, the A's will celebrate Opening Night with a pair of giveaways, a pre-game pyrotechnic display, flyover by Travis Air Force Base CM5 and tributes to Dave Henderson and Tony Phillips, including ceremonial first pitches by family members Trent and Chase Henderson and Jada Phillips.
Sonny Siders: On Monday, April 4, the A's will celebrate Sonny Gray's Opening Night start with the "Sonny Siders." This Opening Night ticket special includes a Sonny Siders T-shirt, cheer card, and a seat in the special Field Level section. The team will host the Sonny Siders section during select games throughout the season. More information is available at athletics.com/sonny.
Rapid Deal Days, presented by BARTable: Fans can take advantage of one of the best deals in sports with $5 tickets during Rapid Deal Days, presented by BARTable. A limited number of tickets are available online for select games throughout the season. For more information, visit athletics.com/bart.
Community Relations
Green Stampede Homework Club: On select games throughout the season, elementary school students will visit O.co Coliseum to receive help with their homework from tutors and aids. An A's player will visit and sign autographs for the students as a way to congratulate them for their hard work. After the students have finished their homework, they are able to sit in the stands and watch the game.
A's Community Fund Silent Auctions: Every Saturday and Sunday home game (and other select games), the A's Community Fund hosts a silent auction featuring signed and unsigned A's memorabilia as well as game-used items. The silent auctions are located in the A's fan center behind section 120 and end with the last out in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Home Run Readers: On Thursday, April 7, more than 3,000 students from local schools will receive tickets to the 12:35 p.m. game as a reward for achieving their reading goals set by their teachers. The tickets are courtesy of the A's Community Fund.
