The Miami Marlins begin a three-game homestand tomorrow, with the opener of a three-game, weekend set against the San Diego Padres.
The Miami Marlins begin a three-game homestand tomorrow, with the opener of a three-game, weekend set against the San Diego Padres. The homestand will feature Players Weekend, a new joint initiative by MLB and the MLB Players Association that will allow players to wear nicknames on the backs of special uniforms. On the year, the Marlins have a 32-29 record at home, and went 5-1 in their most recent homestand.
The highlights of the Marlins' upcoming homestand include:

· J.T. Realmuto Bobblehead, presented by SeaWorld (first 7,500 fans) - Friday, August 25 vs. the Padres
· Dominican Heritage Night - Friday, August 25 vs. the Padres
· Ichiro Suzuki T-Shirt, presented by Sato Pharmaceutical (first 7,000 fans) - Saturday, August 26 vs. the Padres

· Iván Rodríguez Hall of Fame Celebration - Saturday, August 26 vs. the Padres
