The Kansas City Royals are excited to host partner Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. and its innovative "clear" trailer at Kauffman Stadium throughout the series against the Cleveland Indians.
The special trailer will be parked next to Lot H from Friday to Sunday. Through a unique sweepstakes called the "OD Seats to the World Series," fans will have the opportunity to guess the number of baseballs that it would take to fill the customized trailer. The individual who comes closest to guessing the correct number from the summer-long, multi-city promotion will win a pair of tickets to the next three Major League Baseball World Series.
"Old Dominion is excited to be at Kauffman Stadium and for the Royals fans to experience the baseball trailer this weekend," said David Carter, Old Dominion's vice president of marketing communications. "This is our last stop on the 'Seats to the World Series Tour' before we announce the winner, so we hope everyone comes out to the stadium to visit and enters the sweepstakes at odfl.com/tickets."
To learn more about the sweepstakes, follow #HomePlateFreight and Old Dominion on Twitter at @ODFL_Inc. Fans can also connect on Facebook and Instagram by looking up Old Dominion Freight Line Inc.
This weekend concludes the cross-country tour that also made stops at the New York Mets, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Angels after its unveiling in Miami during the All-Star break.
