O's hope to get in on the action at Winter Meetings

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. -- The Orioles don't have to travel far for this year's Winter Meetings, making the short drive to the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor for the offseason's biggest event.
Executive vice president of baseball operations Dan Duquette will meet daily with the media to update where the club stands on trade talks and potential free-agent signings. All 30 clubs will be there and rumors are sure to fly, as the Winter Meetings always bring intrigue, drama and a true start to the Hot Stove season.

MLB.com and MLB Network will have wall-to-wall coverage of the 2016 Winter Meetings. Fans can catch live streaming of all news conferences and manager availability on MLB.com, including the Rule 5 Draft on Thursday at 9 a.m. ET.
O's to lay groundwork on deals at Meetings
Plenty of additional action will also take place in and around the D.C. area. When manager Buck Showater addresses the media at 2:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, he'll talk about the team's plans regarding free agents and , along with the starting rotation and potential lineup questions.
