SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Padres today announced the club's 2016 Baseball Night in San Diego lineup, including all-fan giveaways and events every home weekend during the upcoming Major League Baseball All-Star season. Single-game tickets for Baseball Night in San Diego games go on sale to the general public Thursday, January 28 at 10:00 a.m. at www.padres.com/BNISD. Single-game tickets for all remaining home games will go on sale to the general public Thursday, February 11 at 10:00 a.m. at www.padres.com.
Baseball Night in San Diego continues in 2016, with every Saturday home game featuring a giveaway or event. Highlights of this year's lineup include the addition of technology-based giveaways for the first time as a way to enhance the fan experience at Petco Park, as well as the return of fan favorites like the fedora, Padres hoodie and a throwback replica jersey.
Many of the 2016 giveaway items feature design elements of the new Padres jerseys and wordmarks, which were unveiled in December. For instance, every fan in attendance during the Opening Series presented by Sycuan Casino against the Los Angeles Dodgers, beginning with Opening Day on Monday, April 4, will receive an Opening Series Rally Towel. Each day of the series will feature a different towel design presented by Sycuan, based on the newly unveiled 2016 Padres jerseys (April 4 - Commemorative home white, April 5 -brown and yellow, April 6 -Navy digital camouflage).
