William Myers stretched his hitting streak to seven games Sunday, matching Manuel for the longest hitting streak by a Padres player this season.   
But Myers, like his teammates, is not exactly hot at the plate at the moment.   
Myers has three hits in his last 12 at-bats with one double, no RBIs and no runs scored. Margot is 0-for-8 since his hitting streak end. 
The Padres are 17-for-93 (.183) in their first three games in Atlanta and have scored two runs in each of their three straight losses. Three of the six runs have come on solo homers by Hunter Renfroe, Austin Hedges and Ryan Schimpf.  
Overall, the Padres have reached double-digit in hits only once in their first 13 games. And that happened in the second game of the season. They are hitting a Major League-low .208 as a team.   
First baseman Myers is off to a solid start, hitting .365 with five doubles, two triples and three homers. He has a .382 on-base percentage and a .712 slugging percentage for a 1.093 OPS.   
But he is the only Padres regular hitting over .269 (rookie center fielder Margot's mark). And four regulars are hitting under .200 -- third baseman Schimpf (.152), shortstop Erick Aybar (.147), left fielder Travis Jankowski (.121) and catcher Hedges (.114).
Aybar is in a 1-for-29 slump. Jankowski has one hit in his last 17 at-bats. Margot is 2-for-17. Yangervis Solarte is 2-21. Schimpf is 2-for-26. And Hedges is 4-for-11 since starting the season 0-for-24.   
Like last year, Schimpf again has one of the more unusual lines in baseball. Although he is only 5-for-33, he has drawn 13 walks in 48 plate appearances for a .375 on-base percentage. Three of his five hits are also homers for a .429 slugging percentage and a .799 OPS, which is the third-highest mark by a Padres regular. Schimpf has also struck out 13 times.
GAME NOTES
• Carter Capps, who is 13 months removed from Tommy John surgery, had a tough outing in his third rehab assignment Sunday -- and his first with El Paso. He gave up four runs on four hits with a strikeout in two-thirds of an inning.
• Brad Hand has allowed one hit and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings over his first six appearances this season.
• Jose Torres has been the most active of the Padres' bullpen thus far. He has allowed three runs on three hits with 11 strikeouts over eight innings in seven appearances. All three of the runs he has allowed came on two home runs.
• Craig Stammen has allowed one run in 6 1/3 innings of relief over five appearances.
