Hudson Potts had quite the night as he provided all of the offense for Class A Fort Wayne in a 7-5 win over Great Lakes on Wednesday.
The third baseman -- who ranks 23rd on the Padres' top prospects list -- needed just two swings to inflict damage as the 18-year-old put together the first two-homer game of his career.
"I haven't changed much of anything from the beginning of the season," Potts told MiLB.com. "Everything is kind of just clicking now and I'm working hard to get better everyday."
Potts launched a three-run homer in the first and went deep again with a grand slam in the second before finishing 2-for-5 with a career-high seven RBIs. Potts, who joined the Padres organization as a first-round Draft pick in 2006, is now batting .250 with 19 home runs and 63 RBIs through 121 games with Fort Wayne this season.
Other top prospect performances from Wednesday's action:
• No. 18 overall prospect Willy Adames (Rays' No. 2) helped propel Triple-A Durham past Charlotte with a four-RBI performance for the Bulls. Adames doubled, homered and scored two runs in the 10-6 victory.
"He definitely came into the game with some confidence and swinging the bat well," Bulls manager Jared Sandberd told MiLB.com. "He had goot at-bats, he hit the ball hard. We're talking about a special talent."

• No. 87 overall prospect Estevan Florial (Yankees' No. 4) homered for Class A Advanced Tampa in the team's 7-2 win over Bradenton. Florial finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs. The homer, a two-run blast, was Florial's second in 16 games since his promotion to Tampa.
• Braves No. 11 prospect Austin Riley provided a productive bat for Double-A Mississippi in a doubleheader vs. Pensacola. The third baseman batted 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and two RBIs in the first game, then followed that up with a solo homer in the night cap.
• Dodgers No. 5 prospect Yusniel Diaz stuffed the stat sheet, batting 3-for-5 with a home run, three runs scored, four RBIs and a walk as Double-A Tulsa claimed a dominant 16-0 victory over Northwest Arkansas. Diaz has now collected multiple hits in back-to-back games after a 4-for-5 performance on Tuesday.
• Dodgers No. 16 prospect Edwin Rios collected four hits and drove in six runs for Triple-A Oklahoma City against New Orleans. Rios homered and collected a double during his 4-for-5 performance at the plate. It's the third time this season and fourth time in his professional career that he's had four or more hits in a game.
"I've been scuffling a little bit, so I've been looking at videos to fix my stance, my position or my posture," Rios told MiLB.com. "But today I just went up there and went, 'You know what? Let me go get my fastball and just try to put a good swing on it and try not to do too much.' And it worked out."

• Indians No. 12 prospect Shane Bieber hurled seven scoreless innings for Double-A Akron against Harrisburg. He held the Senators to just four hits and a walk while striking out eight batters. Bieber hasn't allowed more than two earned runs in any of his last five outings and has fanned eight in each of his past three starts.
• Mets No. 10 prospect Peter Alonso extended his hitting streak to seven games with a 2-for-4 game for Double-A Binghamton. Alonso hit a pair of homers in the contest, the first two homers since he was promoted to Double-A on Aug. 24.
"It's been a nice adjustment so far and I'm happy to be up here," Alonso told MiLB.com. "It's exciting to go on a playoff run and try to win a championship."

• Nationals No. 5 prospect Seth Romero was near-perfect for five innings in Class A Short Season Auburn's matchup against Williamsport. Romero held the Crosscutters to just one hit through five scoreless frames while fanning seven batters. The five innings marked a career-high for Romero, the Nationals' first-round pick in June's Draft.
• Padres No. 9 prospect Joey Lucchesi was dominant for six innings in Double-A San Antonio win vs. Midland. He held the RockHounds scoreless, allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out eight batters. He's fanned at least eight in eight of his 22 starts this season.
• Rays No. 10 prospect Justin Williams has been on a roll for Double-A Montgomery. The outfielder went 3-for-5 with a trio of homers, six RBIs and three runs scored against Mobile.

• Twins No. 11 prospect Travis Blankenhorn belted his 13th home run of the season and drove in a career-high five runs for Class A Cedar Rapids. The 21-year-old finished 2-for-5 as the Kernels beat the Burlington Bees 11-1.
