NEW YORK -- It will be at least a couple more weeks before Phillies right-hander Pat Neshek throws a baseball.
The Phillies said Wednesday morning that Neshek's MRI exam on his right shoulder Tuesday did not reveal anything significant. Neshek has not pitched this season. He has experienced some discomfort in his shoulder since the end of Spring Training, and he said he is concerned because it has not subsided.
"There doesn't appear to be a significant injury," the team said. "Just inflammation."
