Dates announced for annual PirateFest

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The Pirates on Wednesday announced that their annual PirateFest fan convention will take place Dec. 10-11 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh.
This is the Pirates' 27th year hosting the event. Current and former players, coaches and executives will once again be in attendance.
Admission for each day is free to the general public. The event will run from noon-7 p.m. ET on Saturday, Dec. 10, and from noon-4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, and will feature autograph sessions as well as games, prizes, youth baseball clinics and more.
The general autograph sessions will require purchase of a ticket prior to the event with all proceeds benefitting Pirates Charities and local non-profit organizations. Fans who purchase those tickets will be guaranteed autographs for the specific sessions they wish to attend. There will also be special, free autograph sessions for children 14 and under throughout the weekend.
Each day will include exclusive events for season-ticket holders, such as autograph sessions and photo opportunities, from 10 a.m. to noon. For more information, including a schedule and autograph session tickets at a later date, fans can visit pirates.com/piratefest.
