Rain brings Angels-Rangers action to a halt
ARLINGTON -- Monday's series opener between the Angels and Rangers has been interrupted by rain. Time was called in the bottom of the eighth inning at 9:42 p.m. CT with the score tied at 2.
Texas' Carlos Beltran started the inning by grounding out to first off reliever A.J. Achter. That brought up Adrian Beltre, but a sudden shower forced the umpires to call the grounds crew.
