ST. LOUIS -- Another rainstorm socked soggy St. Louis on Wednesday, prompting the postponement of the Brewers-Cardinals game to a later date and a pre-emptive schedule change for Thursday's series finale.

Thursday's day game has been moved to 6:15 p.m. CT, weather permitting. Ballpark gates will open at 4:45 p.m. CT.
Chase Anderson and were originally scheduled to start Wednesday. Anderson will now start Thursday for the Brewers.
The Brewers also announced that Thursday's game, which was not originally scheduled for TV, will air on FS Wisconsin.
Fans holding tickets to Wednesday's game will be able to use those same tickets for admittance to the makeup game, which was not immediately rescheduled. The teams have a mutual off-day June 12 before the start of Milwaukee's next visit to Busch Stadium, but playing that day would give the Brewers games on 34 consecutive days.
Wednesday's postponement buys the Brewers some extra time for left fielder , who missed a second straight start Tuesday with a right arm injury but was able to pinch-hit in the ninth inning of the Cardinals' 2-1 win. He remains day to day.
