It didn't take Andy Ibanez long to shake off any rust he may have accrued after missing time with a finger injury.
The Rangers No. 12 prospect went 4-for-5 with two home runs and a career-high six RBIs for Double-A Frisco on Wednesday night in his second game back from a lengthy stay on the disabled list. He connected on three-run homers in the second and third innings and later added a double to finish with 11 total bases, as the RoughRiders defeated Northwest Arkansas, 13-2.

Ibanez, a 24-year-old second baseman, appeared in nine games, hitting .257 with two homers, during the season's first month before landing on the disabled list on April 18. He went 1-for-4 in his return on Tuesday before breaking out with what was possibly a career-best performance on Wednesday.
Ibanez is looking to build off of a promising U.S. debut in 2016 that saw him make the jump from Class A to Double-A and proceed to hit .261/.318/.391 with six homers in 81 games.

• No. 11 overall prospect Brendan Rodgers hit a solo homer en route to recording his seventh -- yes, seventh -- straight multihit game for Class A Lancaster. The Rockies' No. 1 prospect continues to put up monstrous numbers in the California League this season, as he's now hitting .393/.416/.693 with eight homers and 33 RBIs in 33 games.
• No. 12 overall prospect Michael Kopech (White Sox No. 2) matched his season high with 10 strikeouts as he tossed 5 2/3 strong frames, allowing one unearned run on four hits (all singles) and four walks, to lead Double-A Birmingham past Chattanooga, 2-1. The 21-year-old righty assumed the Southern League lead in strikeouts (75) with the performance, while his 2.38 ERA is the circuit's sixth-best mark.

• Playing in just his second game for Corpus Christi, No. 30 overall prospect Kyle Tucker (Astros' No. 2) collected his first Double-A home run and double in a 2-for-4 effort. Tucker's homer, a solo shot in the eighth inning, was his 10th of the season. Overall, he's hit .292/.379/.568 with 27 extra-base hits and 13 steals in 50 games.

• No. 60 overall prospect Jesse Winker (Reds' No. 3) powered Triple-A Louisville in a win over Gwinnett by driving in four runs and reaching base in all five of his plate appearances. The 23-year-old went 3-for-3 with a double at the plate, while also reaching base twice via walks, capping an impressive month that saw him hit .360/.435/.480 over 28 games.

• No. 92 overall prospect Ronald Acuna (Braves' No. 7) continued to rake for Double-A Mississippi, going 4-for-5 with two steals and two runs scored. The 19-year-old outfielder is hitting a robust .565 (13-for-23) over his past five games, giving him a .415/.467/.634 clip in 21 games since joining the M-Braves.

• Making his fourth start for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, No. 99 overall prospect Chance Adams (Yankees' No. 7) struck out a career-high 12 batters and allowed one hit over six innings in win against Columbus. He's 3-1 with a 1.57 ERA since joining the club, and 23-3 with a 1.96 ERA and a 10.1 K/9 in his career. Dustin Fowler (No. 8) and Tyler Wade (No. 11) both went deep for the RailRiders for their ninth and fourth homers.

• Reds No. 13 prospect Shed Long connected on his ninth home run for Class A Advanced Daytona as part of a 2-for-4 effort that raised his season batting line to .321/.380/.528. He also upped his total on the basepaths with a pair of steals. Also going deep for the Tortugas was first baseman Gavin LaValley (No. 26), whose 13 home runs rank second in the Florida State League.
• Tigers No. 3 prospect Beau Burrows was a tough-luck loser for Class A Advanced Palm Beach despite allowing just one earned run on five hits with six strikeouts in seven innings. The 20-year-old righty did maintain his Florida State League-leading ERA of 1.23, however, and he's now pacing the circuit in WHIP (0.95) and strikeouts (62) after Wednesday's outing.
