VOTE: Lucroy out to rep Rangers at Classic

Lucroy is among the nine Rangers listed for the AL on the Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot released on Monday. Lucroy, while with the NL's Brewers in 2014, went 2-for-2 with two RBIs at Target Field in Minneapolis in the AL's 5-3 victory.

Lucroy also hit a single at last year's Midsummer Classic at Petco Park in San Diego. A month later, he was traded by the Brewers to the Rangers at the non-waiver Trade Deadline.

Fans may cast votes for starters at MLB.com and all 30 club sites -- on computers, tablets and smartphones -- exclusively online using the 2017 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot until Thursday, June 29, at 10:59 p.m. CT. On smartphones and tablets, fans can also access the ballot via the MLB.com At Bat and MLB.com Ballpark mobile apps. Vote up to five times in any 24-hour period for a maximum of 35 ballots cast.
Following the announcement of the 2017 All-Star starters, reserves and pitchers, fans should return to MLB.com and cast their 2017 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Final Vote for the final player on each league's All-Star roster. Then on Tuesday, July 11, while watching the 2017 All-Star Game presented by MasterCard live on FOX, fans may visit MLB.com to submit their choices for the Ted Williams Most Valuable Player Award presented by Chevrolet with the 2017 MLB All-Star Game MVP Vote.

The 88th Midsummer Classic, at Marlins Park in Miami, will be televised nationally by FOX Sports; in Canada by Rogers Sportsnet and RDS; and worldwide by partners in more than 160 countries. The AL ballot also includes Rangers shortstop , who is a two-time All-Star, and third baseman , a four-time All-Star who has been on the disabled list since the start of the season with a strained right hamstring.

, who hit for the cycle on Saturday against the Angels, is looking for his third appearance at the All-Star Game. He was there representing the Brewers in 2013 and '14. Mike Napoli, who returned to Arlington this season, represented the Rangers as a catcher at the 2012 All-Star Game and is now on the ballot as a first baseman.

Outfielder is making his debut on the ballot, and Rougned Odor (second base), (outfield) and (designated hitter) are also in the running.
