Rangers to host Athletics April 7-9 for final three games of opening homestand

The first homestand of the season continues tomorrow, Friday, April 7, as the Texas Rangers open a three-game weekend series with the Oakland Athletics at Globe Life Park in Arlington.
The division-rival A's and Rangers square off Friday and Saturday at 7:05 p.m., then the homestand concludes Sunday with a 2:05 p.m. matchup.
Friday marks the first TXU Energy Friday Fireworks of the season, which will be set to the music of famous Texas artists with #LonestarGrit.
On Saturday, the first 15,000 fans (14 and older) will receive a TXU Energy Rangers Lightweight jacket. And the giveaways continue Sunday, with an AT&T Rangers Umbrella for the first 15,000 fans (14 and older).
