"There are so many parts of his game that I'm impressed with, and he continues to become a better and a more well-rounded player," manager Bryan Price said of Votto on Friday, after Votto homered twice against the Brewers. "But we get to see him every day, so we're spoiled by that."

Over the last week, the 33-year-old produced a monster .524/.630/1.095 slash line with three home runs, three doubles and six RBIs in seven divisional games against NL Central opponents, the Cardinals, Brewers and Cubs. Votto had multiple hits in five of the seven games.

Votto's .524 batting average was tied for second in the NL for the week, his .630 on-base percentage ranked second and his 1.095 slugging percentage led the NL, as did his 1.725 OPS. His three homers were tied for the most by an NL hitter during the week.

Votto has earned four NL Player of the Week Awards in his career. His most recent came in May 2013, his last season as an All-Star. Votto also took home Player of the Week honors in July 2011 and September 2009.
