Royals announce a pair of transactions

The Kansas City Royals announced today that right-handed pitcher Nick Tepesch has been sent outright to Omaha (AAA), while outfielder Rey Fuentes has cleared unconditional waivers and become a free agent. Both players were designated for assignment on September 6.
