Royals option Gore to Northwest Arkansas

May 4th, 2016

KANSAS CITY -- After the Royals' 13-2 loss to the Nationals on Wednesday, outfielder Terrance Gore was optioned to Double-A Northwest Arkansas.
The Royals indicated they will make a corresponding roster move before Friday's game in Cleveland.
Kansas City may want to add another reliever to the staff, especially after a short outing by starter Kris Medlen on Wednesday.
Veteran left-hander Brian Duensing, who had a strong Spring Training, could be an option. He has a May 15 opt-out date at Triple-A Omaha -- and a 1.84 ERA through eight games.
Gore appeared in four games and stole two bases for the Royals.
