KANSAS CITY -- The Royals announced Thursday they will visit the White House and President Obama next Thursday, July 21. The defending World Series champion Royals made the announcement on Twitter.
The visit will come on an off-day amid a nine-game homestand. The Royals have a day game next Wednesday against the Indians and perhaps will leave for Washington that evening.
