Here are three interesting items from the Division Series on Sunday …
• In Toronto, the Blue Jays finished off the Rangers in the American League Division Series with a 7-6 win in Game 3 to advance to the AL Championship Series (Game 1, Friday night in Boston or Cleveland on TBS for U.S. viewers, as well as Sportsnet and RDS in Canada). After winning the 2016 AL Wild Card Game in walk-off fashion (on Edwin Encarnacion's three-run home run), Toronto used another walk-off victory (Josh Donaldson scoring on an errant throw) to move on to the next round. The Blue Jays are the second team in a single postseason to have walk-offs in multiple clinching games. In 2001, the D-backs had walk-off wins in Game 5 of the National League Division Series (RBI single by Tony Womack) and Game 7 of the World Series (RBI single by Luis Gonzalez).
• In Game 2 of the NLDS in Washington, Jose Lobaton hit a three-run home run in the fourth inning in the Nationals' 5-2 win over the Dodgers (Game 3, today on MLB Network, 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT). Lobaton became the second catcher for the franchise to go yard in the postseason. In the 1981 NLDS against the Phillies, the Expos' Gary Carter homered in Game 2's 3-1 win, and then again in Game 4's 6-5 loss. In postseason history, catchers have collectively hit 265 home runs (with the Blue Jays' Russell Martin also hitting one on Sunday). Among all positions, that is sixth most, behind the three outfield spots (left and right are tied at the top; center field ranks fifth), first base and third base (ranking third and fourth, respectively).

• In the loss, Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager homered. With this roundtripper following his Game 1 homer, Seager is -- at 22 years and 165 days old -- one of seven players that young (or younger) to have multiple games with a home run in a postseason. The group includes: Jimmie Foxx (1929), Mickey Mantle ('52, '53), Andruw Jones (two in '96); Miguel Cabrera (four games in 2003); Brian McCann (two in '05); Bryce Harper (three in '14); and Seager (two in '16).
