The Texas Rangers today announced that Sean Decker has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations and Events and Joe Januszewski will assume the title of Executive Vice President, Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer.

In his new role Decker will continue to have oversight of the club's ballpark and facilities operations at Globe Life Park in Arlington as well as responsibility for the expansion and growth of organization's non-baseball Special Events Division, which was previously called Rangers Enterprises.

Januszewski will continue with oversight of the Rangers ticket sales and operations, marketing, partnerships and client services, community outreach, in-game entertainment and promotions departments. His group is responsible for selling partnerships in the new Texas Live! entertainment district currently being built in Arlington. He also serves as President of the Down East Wood Ducks, the Rangers-owned Advanced-A minor league affiliate in Kinston, North Carolina.

Decker has spent the last three years as the Rangers Vice President, Ballpark Operations. He joined the club in 2010 and previously served in several roles including Sr. Account Executive, Suite Sales and Director of Sales and Assistant Vice President of Rangers Enterprises.

Decker began his career in professional baseball as Operations Assistant with the Pacific Coast League's Colorado Sky Sox in 2008 and also worked as Assistant Director of Baseball Operations for MLB's Arizona Fall League and as Corporate Marketing Manager for the Texas League's Frisco RoughRiders before joining the Rangers.

Januszewski has spent 19 years in Major League Baseball amongst three teams, and has been with the Rangers since February 2011 as EVP, Business Partnerships and Development.

"These adjustments will position us for success as we prepare to move into our new ballpark in 2020 and advance to the next stage of the club's evolution as the destination in North Texas for entertainment," said Ray Davis, Texas Rangers Co-Chairman and Managing Partner.
