Fresh off spoiling 's debut for the Yankees, Cleveland right-hander returns to the mound to face the Rockies for an enticing Interleague battle tonight. The matchup is part of a full 15-game slate streaming live on MLB.TV.
Kluber was simply sensational in shutting down the Bronx Bombers, allowing one run on just three hits and a walk while striking out 11 in his third complete game of 2017.
The 2015 American League Cy Young Award winner, Kluber missed virtually all of May due to injury, but has performed as one of the best pitchers in all of baseball since being reinserted in the Indians' rotation.
Kluber's run thrusts him into awards contention
The 31-year-old has fierce competition in the Red Sox's Chris Sale in the race for this season's honor, but he's allowed just 17 earned runs in 86 1/3 frames since the start of June (1.77 ERA) and racked up double-digit strikeouts in 10 of 12 outings over that span.
Kluber squares off against Colorado's potent offense in what should present one of his toughest tasks of the year. (9-4, 4.11) gets the ball for the Rockies having won four straight decisions. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. ET at Progressive Field.

Wild west showdown: LAD@ARI, 9:40 p.m.
A marquee National League West matchup between the unflappable Dodgers and rising D-backs highlights the slew of late games. Seemingly no one can stop Los Angeles these days, but Arizona figures to give it a run for its money being one of the top teams in the NL.
After a brief departure from the Dodgers rotation in mid June, right-hander has regained his footing. The 29-year-old has earned victories in four consecutive outings.
The D-backs hand the ball to 27-year-old , who has thrown 13 straight scoreless innings over his past two starts (both victories).

Sale at The Trop: BOS@TB, 7:10 p.m.
Arguably the frontrunner for the 2017 AL Cy Young Award, Sale has been as good as any hurler in the game this season. The left-hander returns to the mound on the heels of a no-decision versus the Indians in which he allowed a season-high seven earned runs. His five innings pitched tied a season low.

The eight-year veteran will try to bounce back versus Tampa Bay, which poses as not only a threat to one of the two Wild Card spots, but also Boston's status atop the AL East.
The Rays turn to right-hander (6-2, 5.65) as they attempt to gain ground in the division standings.
Rebound effort: HOU@CWS, 8:10 p.m.
Astros ace toes the rubber for just the fourth time since May when he goes head-to-head with fellow left-hander and the White Sox.

Keuchel missed nearly two months with a pinched nerve in his neck and has given up six earned runs in eight innings pitched since returning to the Houston rotation. The 6-foot-3, 207-pound lefty suffered his first loss of the season his last time out. He'll look to eclipse 100 pitches for the first time since May 5.
Holland tossed three pitches while recording one out in relief in his last outing, but rejoins the White Sox rotation to make his 22nd start of the year. The 30-year-old is searching for his first win since June 13 versus the Orioles.
Interleague intrigue: STL@KC, 8:15 p.m.
A pair of Missouri-based clubs looking to earn a trip to the postseason take the stage when the Cardinals and Royals clash at Kauffman Stadium.

takes the hill for Kansas City having cooled off following a blistering start to the year. After back-to-back six-run outings, Vargas has given up just six earned over his past three.
