Twins and Royals delayed in 5th due to rain

KANSAS CITY -- The Royals-Twins game on Friday night went into a rain delay at 8:41 p.m. CT.
The game is not official with the score tied 4-4 with one out in the top of the fifth.
The Royals took advantage of right-hander ' wildness in the second inning. With one out, singled to left and  walked.  then hit a shot that caromed off Twins third baseman 's face for an RBI single. was then hit by a pitch, loading the bases. Berrios then walked and , forcing in two more runs and it was 3-0.
hit his 28th homer in the third off Royals right-hander , tying his career high, set last season. Dozier has homered in seven straight games against the Royals.
The Twins, trailing 4-1, scored three runs off Volquez in the fifth, tying it at 4-4.
After a delay that lasted three hours and three minutes, the game resumed at 11:45 p.m.
