UCLA paid tribute to one of baseball's most influential stars on Saturday, unveiling a monument to Jackie Robinson at its Westwood campus.

The 42-inch bronze "42" statue is a nod to Robinson's jersey number with the Brooklyn Dodgers. Robinson was a four-sport athlete at UCLA, starring in football, basketball, baseball and track from 1939 to 1941.
