Orioles-Rangers game postponed due to inclement weather

April 17th, 2016

ARLINGTON -- The Rangers' game with the Orioles, scheduled for 2:05 p.m. CT on Sunday, has been postponed until June 20. The time for the rescheduled game has not been determined.
Sunday's game was called off because of moderate to heavy rain that swept through North Texas and was forecast to continue through Monday.
Fans holding tickets to Sunday's game may use those tickets for the Monday, June 20, makeup and should hold on to them for that date. Fans may also exchange tickets for any Sunday through Thursday non-premier home game, subject to availability, during the remainder of the 2016 season.
The Rangers have altered their rotation. Right now, Derek Holland, Cole Hamels and A.J. Griffin are scheduled to pitch the three-game series against the Astros that starts on Tuesday in Arlington.
The only baseball activity that took place on Sunday was Yu Darvish throwing live batting practice in the indoor cages.
