Hansen threw 48 of his 85 pitches for strikes, walked three and struck out four, but did not earn a win as the game went to extra innings.

Since the White Sox selected Hansen in the second round of the Draft, he has carved up opposing lineups. The 21-year-old hasn't allowed an earned run in seven of his nine professional appearances and has a 1.47 ERA through six starts with Great Falls.

Hansen began his career in the Arizona League where he started three games with the AZL White Sox and didn't allow a hit in two. In those contests, Hansen gave up one hit over seven scoreless frames and struck out 11.

Less than a month later, the right-hander was promoted to Great Falls where he is 2-0 and has struck out 46 batters in 30 2/3 innings.
