The Chicago White Sox have announced the "Abreu's Amigo's Meal Deal" promotion with first baseman José Abreu and Papa John's. The season-long promotion will support Chicago White Sox Charities (CWSC) and Abreu's Amigos, the philanthropic program Abreu launched at Easterseals Academy in 2015 to share his passion for supporting children with special needs.

Fans can now purchase the "Abreu Amigo's Meal Deal" from the "specials" tab on papajohns.com. The pizza special features two medium two-topping pizzas, any bread side and any dessert for $24. Ten percent of this special, as well as online purchases within the Chicagoland area made using the code "AMIGOS" at checkout, will benefit CWSC and Abreu's Amigos.

"The Chicago White Sox have a storied tradition of giving back to the Chicagoland community that includes our players, staff and fans," said Christine O'Reilly, White Sox vice president of community relations. "Through the 'Abreu's Amigos Meal Deal,' fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a value meal from Papa John's while also making Chicago a better place to work, live and play."

Abreu kicked off the fourth year of his outreach program on May 22 at Easterseals Academy. The visit included a meeting with the "Good Guys Group" - a group of Easterseals students working on social skills, friendship and anti-bullying - followed by a pizza party for nearly 200 students and staff members courtesy of Papa John's. A group of students also attended Tuesday evening's game vs. Baltimore for the first Abreu's Amigo's outing of 2018.
