Gonzalez, 32, left last night's game with no outs in the bottom of the second inning due to the groin injury. He is 2-6 with a 4.05 ERA (46 ER/102.1 IP) in 19 appearances (18 starts) this season, his first with Chicago. He entered last night's start with a 2.76 ERA (14 ER/45.2 IP) and seven quality starts over his previous seven outings from July 1-August 5.
