White Sox open Cactus League slate Feb. 25

CHICAGO -- The 2017 White Sox Cactus League schedule begins Feb. 25 with a contest at Camelback Ranch-Glendale in Phoenix against the Dodgers, as the South Siders announced their Spring Training ledger Wednesday.
Tickets to individual Spring Training games at Camelback Ranch go on sale Jan. 9. All White Sox Spring Training information is available at whitesox.com/spring. The schedule is subject to change.
The White Sox and Dodgers share Camelback Ranch, and the Dodgers will be the home team in the opener. The first true home game for the White Sox comes Feb. 26 against the Rockies, followed the next day by a trip to Mesa to take on the 2016 World Series champion Cubs. The Chicago rivals meet again March 17 at Camelback Ranch.
Cleveland, the American League champion, faces the White Sox for the first time March 13 in Glendale. The two teams play again March 25 at Goodyear.
All White Sox home games until March 12 are scheduled to begin at 2:05 p.m. CT/1:05 p.m. MT, except for 3:05 p.m./12:05 p.m. starts on March 12 vs. Texas, March 17 vs. the Cubs and March 29 vs. San Diego. As of March 12, spring games will begin at 3:05 p.m. CT. The White Sox play 17 home games at Camelback Ranch and have three scheduled night games in Peoria against the Padres on March 3, in Glendale against the Dodgers on March 12 and in Surprise against the Rangers on March 21.
Split-squad action takes place Feb. 28 at home against the Mariners and in Goodyear against the Reds and March 12 at home against the Rangers in the afternoon and at home against the Dodgers at night. Additional exhibition games and opponents will be announced at a later date, as will a Spring Training broadcast schedule and report dates.
