White Sox ink Ishikawa to Minor League deal

CHICAGO -- The White Sox have agreed to terms with Travis Ishikawa on a Minor League deal with an invite to Spring Training. The 32-year-old left-handed hitter has experience in left field, right field and at first base.
Ishikawa has 1,050 career plate appearances over eight Major League seasons, playing for five different teams. He was with the White Sox organization in 2013, hitting .250 with two homers and 23 RBIs over 120 at-bats with Triple-A Charlotte.
Ishikawa batted .224 with one homer and eight RBIs in 38 games for the Pirates in 2015.
