Yankees-Royals delayed by rain in 6th inning

KANSAS CITY -- The Yankees-Royals game on Tuesday night was delayed by rain heading into the top of the sixth inning at Kauffman Stadium. It was expected that play would resume at 10:05 p.m. CT.
The Yanks, who led 4-2 at the time of the delay, took an early lead on a two-run home run by Aaron Judge in the second inning. They added two more runs on an RBI double by Jacoby Ellsbury in the second and a sacrifice fly by Chase Headley in the third.
Outfielder Jarrod Dyson put the Royals on the board with an RBI triple in the third.
