Yankees' Draft results

Yankees vice president of amateur scouting Damon Oppenheimer has said that the organization does not anticipate issues in coming to agreements with their top two picks, right-hander Clarke Schmidt from the University of South Carolina (first round, No. 16 overall) and right-hander Matt Sauer from Righetti High School in California (second round, No. 54 overall).

"I think it should be pretty straightforward," Oppenheimer said following the Draft. "You never know what'll happen until everything is all dotted, but I think we're in pretty good shape with that group of guys."

New York has signed each of its picks from Rounds 3 through 17, including outfielder Canaan Smith from Rockwall-Heath High School in Texas (fourth round, $497,500), right-hander Glenn Otto from Rice University (fifth round, $320,900) and left-hander Dalton Lehnen from Augustana University (sixth round, $245,100).

The Yankees' other signings include (round in parentheses):
