Torres, Adams lead top prospect performers

May 2nd, 2017

It sure hasn't taken Yankees top prospect long to quash any concerns about the shoulder injury that landed him on the disabled list in April.
Torres, MLBPipeline.com's No. 2 overall prospect, recorded his third straight multi-hit performance on Monday, going 3-for-5 with a two-run double in Double-A Trenton's 7-0 win over Harrisburg.

The 20-year-old shortstop improved his batting line from .220/.333/.317 to .321/.410/.491 in the process, and he's now tallied multiple hits in five of his 14 games with the Thunder.

The Yankees' No. 8 prospect completed a season-high six innings, allowing two hits and three walks with five strikeouts while throwing 60 of his 98 pitches for strikes.
