The Detroit Tigers are coming to town for a two-game series against the Phillies on April 30-May 1 at Citizens Bank Park. Here’s a look at some of the promotions and giveaways featured at the ballpark: 

1. On Tuesday, April 30, Hatfield Phillies Franks Dollar Dog Night returns for that evening’s 7:05 p.m. game, featuring probable pitcher Vince Velasquez.

• Get ready for tasty dollar dogs, courtesy of Hatfield Phillies Franks! Plus, be on the lookout for the Phanatic’s hot dog launcher at the end of the 5th inning.

2. On Wednesday, May 1, probable pitcher Aaron Nola will take to the mound during that night’s 7:05 p.m. game. Fans in attendance will have the unique opportunity to take photos with Billy Joel’s signature piano, as part of a Billy Joel experience being offered the entire month of May. Plus, it’s Nurses Appreciation Night, featuring a special Theme Night ticket offer.

• Billy Joel is returning to Citizens Bank Park on May 24, and in honor of his upcoming concert and stadium residency, fans will be treated to a Billy Joel experience the entire month of May.

Starting on May 1, fans are invited to take photos with the Piano Man’s signature Steinway & Sons piano, which will be on display in the First Base elevator lobby. Limited Billy Joel merchandise will also be available outside of the lobby.

Joel, who will celebrate his 70th birthday on May 9, is the first artist to perform for a record-breaking six consecutive years at Citizens Bank Park, and holds the record for the most live performances by any artist in the venue's 15-year history.

3. Take photos at the iconic Liberty Bell from Veterans Stadium or the new photo backdrop on the Budweiser Rooftop!

• Gate Openings: Main gates open 1½ hours prior to game time every day. Ashburn Alley and a portion of the Third Base Gate granting access to Pass and Stow open 2 hours before every game. The entrance to Ashburn Alley is the Left Field Gate.

• Parking Lot Openings: All parking lots open 5 hours prior to game time. 

• Broadcast Information: Games on April 30–May 1 will be broadcast on NBCSP, 94 WIP and WTTM 1680 (Spanish), as well as available via live stream for authenticated subscribers on NBC Sports Philadelphia’s new MyTeams app.
