D-backs reinstate Jake Lamb, Braden Shipley from 10-day DL

The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated INF Jake Lamb (sprained left AC joint) from the 10-day disabled list and optioned INF Christian Walker to Triple-A Reno. Additionally, the D-backs reinstated RHP Braden Shipley (right elbow inflammation) from the 10-day disabled list (retro to May 5) and optioned him to Reno.

Lamb, 27, was hitting .278 (5-for-18) with 1 double and 5 RBI in 4 games with the D-backs this season before being placed on the disabled list on April 3. In 3 rehab games with Single-A Advanced Visalia, he went 2-for-11 (.182) with 2 doubles and 2 runs scored.u5:p
Walker, 27, has appeared in 16 games over 2 stints with D-backs this season, 14 as a pinch-hitter, batting .125 (2-for-16) with a double, home run, 2 RBI and 3 walks. He was recalled from Reno on May 15.u5:p
Shipley, 26, was recalled from Reno on May 5, and did not appear in a game with the D-backs before being placed on the disabled list on May 8.u5:p
