D-backs reinstate Taijuan Walker from the disabled list

The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated RHP Taijuan Walker from the 10-day disabled list (blister on right index finger).

The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated RHP Taijuan Walker from the 10-day disabled list (blister on right index finger). Walker will start tonight's series finale.

Walker, 24, is 4-3 with a 3.46 ERA (20 ER in 52.0 IP) in 9 starts in his first season with the D-backs in 2017. He is making his first start since tossing 6.0 scoreless innings in a 10-1 win on May 19 at San Diego.

Following last night's game, the D-backs optioned RHP Silvino Bracho to Triple-A Reno.

Bracho, 24, has posted an 8.53 ERA (6 ER in 6.1 IP) in 7 games with Arizona this season.
