Su Majestad La Brissa is a band that plays cumbia music since its inception in 1975 in the city of Estación Corral located in the Mexican state of Sonora. Juan Leyva Corbalá, his brothers and some friends from the region decided to form the band in the mid 70’s and named it La Brissa De Estación Corral (The Breeze of Estación Corral) because of its refreshing melodies and rich tropical music interpretations. La Brissa has become a hit in Phoenix, Arizona, with its incomparable sound, their feel for tropical music and the versatility they bring to their craft. The band has won numerous awards and has been recognized in different stages throughout Northwest México and at every U.S city where they’ve performed, delighting fans of all ages.
