D-backs reinstate David Peralta from the injured list, option Stefan Crichton to Triple-A Reno

PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated OF David Peralta from the 10-day injured list (right AC joint inflammation) and optioned RHP Stefan Crichton to Triple-A Reno. 

Peralta, 31, is hitting .309 (59-for-191)/.357 OBP/.524 SLG with 16 doubles, 2 triples, 7 homers, 30 RBI and 13 walks in 46 games for the D-backs. At the time of his injury on May 24, he ranked among NL players in doubles (T-4th, 16), hits (7th, 59), total bases (T-10th, 100), extra-base hits (T-11th, 25) and average (13th, .309). He is batting .364 (16-for-44) with 5 doubles, 2 triples, 3 home runs and 26 RBI with runners in scoring position.

Crichton, 27, made 4 scoreless appearances (2.2 IP) for the D-backs, allowing just 1 hit with 3 strikeouts. It was his first Major League appearances since June 25, 2017 as a member of the Orioles.
