KANSAS CITY, MO (July 1, 2019) – The Kansas City Royals will host the Cleveland Indians (July 2-4) during the quick homestand before the All-Star Break. The Club will join Major League Baseball in hosting Armed Forces Night (July 3) with a special pregame ceremony and a postgame fireworks spectacular. Please see below for more details.

Tuesday, July 2 – Cleveland Indians vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.

· T-Shirt Tuesday – The first 10,000 fans will receive an Army green t-shirt with Royals script on the front (photo attached) and the American flag on the sleeve, courtesy of Price Chopper.

Wednesday, July 3 – Cleveland Indians vs. Royals, 7:15 p.m.

· Armed Forces Night presented by QuikTrip, Folds of Honor and Price Chopper – Join us for a special pregame ceremony honoring the men and women who serve our country. To see the ceremonies, fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:20 p.m. Members of the military will also be honored throughout the game through the Buck O’Neil Legacy Seat and Salute to Service programs, as well as other special in-game features. · Fireworks Spectacular – A special patriotic-themed fireworks spectacular will follow the game, presented by Popsicle and Price Chopper.

· Student Night presented by INK – Students can purchase View Reserved or Outfield Plaza (sections 250-252) tickets for just $8 on Wednesday home games! The $8 tickets are also available for purchase at the Kauffman Stadium Box Office with a valid high school or college ID or youth 14 years of age and under with an adult. Students can also enjoy food and beverage specials before and during the game: half-priced appetizers at Craft & Draft and Rivals Sports Bar and select $4 Boulevard beers at the Radler Stand and Craft & Draft before the game and $4 hot dogs and $4 sodas at select concession stands during the game.

Thursday, July 4 – Cleveland Indians vs. Royals, 12:15 p.m.

· Pitcher & Cup Set – The first 10,000 fans will get a Royals-themed pitcher and cup set (photo attached), courtesy of Price Chopper.

· Holiday activations – In celebration of Independence Day, an “Uncle Sam” stilt walker will roam the Outfield Experience concourse before the game, and an air brush tattoo artist featuring patriotic stencils will be available for free for fans in the Outfield Experience before the game.
