CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Indians today announced the following transactions relative to the 2019 Major League roster:

Recalled RHP ADAM PLUTKO (#45) from AAA Columbus.

Optioned RHP JON EDWARDS to AAA Columbus.

Plutko begins his second stint with the Major League club, going 1-1 with a 6.35 ERA over two previous outings, May 18-23 (8ER/11.1IP). Around his stint with the Indians, he has posted a 1-3 mark with a 7.47 ERA in four Triple-A starts (13ER/15.2IP) after beginning his 2019 regular season campaign on May 7 due to a right forearm strain. He is scheduled to make his third start of the year this afternoon vs. the New York Yankees.
