Kansas City's Skoglund suspended

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that Kansas City Royals pitcher Eric Skoglund has received an 80-game suspension without pay after testing positive for the Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators S-22 (Ostarine) and LGD-4033 (Ligandrol), both performance-enhancing substances, in violation of Major League Baseball's Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. Skoglund's 80-game suspension will be effective at the beginning of the 2019 regular season.
