Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association brings Legends for Youth baseball clinic series to Scottsdale, Ari.

Free youth baseball clinic to feature 16 former MLB players

Colorado Springs, Colo. **– Local youth will have an opportunity to play with their big league heroes at the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) Legends for Youth baseball clinic series on **Friday, January 18th, 2019. In conjunction with the Scottsdale Charros, the free clinic features former Major League Baseball players who will teach baseball skills, drills and life lessons for approximately 400 local youth.

Players attending* include 2001 Arizona Diamondbacks World Series champion Albie Lopez, as well as Willie Adams, Lorenzo Barcelo, Damon Buford, Jack Daugherty, Eric Fox, Greg Hansell, Ray King, Jeff Larish, Scott Lydy, Blas Minor, Jon Nunnally, Will Ohman, Mike Sember, Josh Spence **and **Tim Unroe.These 16 players combine for 84 seasons and 3,522 games in Major League Baseball.

The clinic will take place at** Scottsdale Stadium**, spring training home of the San Francisco Giants, running from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., located at 7408 Osborn Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85251. Alumni players will train at stations including pitching, catching, baserunning and life skills. Registration will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the afternoon will conclude with an autograph session and baseball giveaways for children in attendance.
