Major League Baseball & Washington Nationals host 'The 2019 World Series' documentary premiere and Red Carpet presented by Budweiser

First baseman Ryan Zimmerman, president of baseball operations and general manager Mike Rizzo, members of the Lerner family expected to attend the special event Monday, December 2 at The Anthem in D.C.; tickets on sale Thursday, November 21 at 10 a.m. ET

On Monday, December 2nd, Major League Baseball and the Washington Nationals will host the premiere of “The 2019 World Series,” the Major League Baseball documentary produced by MLB Network that captures the spectacular and improbable journey of the 2019 Washington Nationals in winning their franchise’s first World Series championship.

The documentary premiere presented by Budweiser takes place at The Anthem in Washington D.C. at 7:00 pm ET. Notable Nationals personnel expected to attend and be part of the ceremony prior to the screening include first baseman and team’s first-ever draft pick Ryan Zimmerman, General Manager Mike Rizzo and members of the Lerner family. The film’s narrator, Craig Melvin, anchor of NBC’s TODAY, will also be at the premiere. More special guests are expected to be confirmed in the coming week.

Additionally, fans with tickets to the premiere will have the opportunity to take photos with the Nationals first Commissioner’s Trophy in a special area inside the venue and with Nationals mascots greeting fans as they enter.
